DAY 3 - PRAGUE

Breakfast and time of leisure. A day to relax and enjoy a walk in Prague (transfers not included).

DAY 4 - HRADČANY

After breakfast, we will explore Hradčany, Prague’s Castle complex, providing stunning city views. En route, we pass the Loretto Church, and upon entering the Castle (ticket not included), you can explore its major attractions. We traverse the castle’s courtyards to reach the grand St. Vitus Cathedral, a pivotal place for Czech kings and queens’ coronations, as well as the final resting place for saints, sovereigns, nobles, and archbishops. Inside, you can admire the beautifully adorned St. Wenceslas Chapel, the royal crypt, and the Crown Chamber with its exquisite stained glass and more. We also tour the historic Royal Palace, housing the Gothic Vladislav Hall, known for its remarkable rib vaulted ceiling and current use for state ceremonies. Our next stop is the Romanesque Basilica of St. George, the castle’s second-oldest building, where Princess Ludmilla, a martyr and St. Vaclav’s grandmother, rests. We explore the charming Golden Lane, once inhabited by goldsmiths in its miniature houses, before descending the palace steps to enjoy further city vistas. You’ll have free time to unwind at the hotel before an optional visit to the night market in Old Town Square in the evening.

DAY 5 - DRESDEN

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Dresden, a significant cultural centre with a poignant history, largely destroyed during World War II but painstakingly rebuilt to its former splendour. We’ll pass by the Zwinger Palace, home to world-renowned museums like the Porcelain Collections and Old Masters Picture Gallery. Explore more of the city’s historic sites during our walking tour, with free time for personal visits and shopping in nearby department stores.

DAY 6 – PILSEN

Today, we have an easy day by visiting Pilsen, a town famous for its beer production. A visit to the biggest brewery in the country (entrance ticket not included) producer of Pilsner beer, the most popular in the country. The process of beer production, bottling and also get a chance to taste. A visit to the city centre for free time, plenty of typical Czech restaurants to choose from.

DAY 7 - ČESKÝ KRUMLOV

After breakfast, we’ll tour Český Krumlov, the country’s most charming and popular destination. The town, divided by the Vltava River in a deep valley, offers its best view from the castle grounds. We’ll descend to the town, stroll its quaint streets, and explore the UNESCO-declared World Heritage Site of the historic centre. You’ll have some free time for lunch (not included) and personal exploration before we return to our hotel.

DAY 8 - KARLOVY VARY - MALTA

After breakfast, we’ll explore Karlovy Vary, a spa town famous for its dozen hot springs and international film festival. Enjoy a delightful walk along the river, taking in the fresh atmosphere and beautiful architecture. The town boasts sheltered walkways and parks for a relaxing day. Exploring the shops and restaurants in the new town is an excellent way to spend the afternoon and savour a typical Czech lunch (not included). We’ll then transfer to the airport for your flight back to Malta.
