Day 1
MALTA - PRAGUE
Meet your tour manager at Malta International Airport for your flight to Prague. Upon arrival proceed for city tour of the Old Town and admire the arcaded houses at the old town square, the church of Our Lady of Tyn and the town hall with its famous astronomic clock. Check in at the 4*hotel. Meals: Dinner.


Day 2
PRAGUE
Today you will start with a tour of Hradcany, the monumental area of the castle, the residence of the King of Bohemia and Hungary, monarch of Austria and Holy Roman Emperor. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.


Day 3
PRAGUE – KATOWICE
Drive towards Poland (Czestochowa) and visit the basilica on the hill of Jasna Gora, sheltering the Madonna with child, known as the “Black Virgin”. Check in at the 4*hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.


Day 4
AUSCHWITZ – WADOWICE - KRAKOW
Departure for Oswiecim (Auschwitz), which has witnessed one of the biggest crimes in the history of humanity. Visit the concentration camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Proceed to Wadowice, the birth place of Karol Wojtyla, better known as Pope John Paul II. Visit the house where he was born. Check in at the 4*hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.


Day 5
KALWARIA ZEBRZYDOWSKA
Morning tour of Poland’s ancient capital, one of the most beautiful cities in the country, dominated by Wawel castle, proudly perched on a rock above the Vistula. Visit the royal castle with its remarkable Flemish tapestries. Continue to the lower city with its huge market place, elegant houses and the famous Cloth Hall. Continue to the Jewish quarter, Kazimierz, admirably well-preserved. Drive to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska and visit of the pilgrimage park, built in the 17th century as the Counter Reformation in the late 16th century led to prosperity in the creation of Calvaries in Catholic Europe. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.


Day 6
WIELICZKA
Drive to Wieliczka to visit the famous salt mines, protected by Unesco World Heritage. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.


Day 7
BUDAPEST
In the morning you will head south with a stop in Banska Bystrica (Slovakia). Arrive in Budapest at the end of the day. Check in at the 4*hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.


Day 8
BUDAPEST
 Tour of Budapest starting with Buda: the palace hill, the castle area, Mathias’ church, the fishermen’s bastion, a place famous for its marvellous view over Pest and mount Gellert’s citadel. The afternoon will be dedicated to the visit of Pest, the most recent part of the capital, that spreads across the plain. See the Parliament, mixing Byzantine, Romanesque, Gothic and Oriental elements, the ensemble is a perfect demonstration of the eclecticism that makes the Hungarian capital so charming. Visit St Stephen’s basilica. See the National Opera and walk up elegant Andrassy avenue to the enormous Heroes Square dominated by the military monument. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.



Day 9
SARAJEVO
Depart for the Croatian border. Make a stop in Osijek before crossing the Bosnian border. Arrive in Sarajevo at the end of the day. Check in at the 4*hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner



Day 10
SARAJEVO – MOSTAR
In the morning visit the cathedral of Sarajevo. Drive to Mostar the historic city that presents the most remarkable architectural ensemble with ancient houses in the Ottoman style, the old bridge, the Stari Most, which gave its name to the city. Check in at the 4*hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner



Day 11
MEDJUGORJE – ZADAR
Proceed for tour of Medjugorje, a popular site of religious pilgrimage due to reports of apparitions of the Virgin Mary to six local Catholics. Cross the Croatian border and drive to Zadar. Check in at the 4*hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner



Day 12
ZADAR – ZAGREB
Travel to the capital city of Zagreb. Developing from two medieval settlements – Kaptol and Gradec, which form the core of the old Upper Town – it is a true central European city. Check in at the 4*hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner



Day 13
VIENNA WOODS
Cross the Austrian border and continue to the Vienna Woods, in proximity to the Austrian Capital. Visit the Heiligenkreuz Abbey, the oldest continuously occupied Cistercian monastery in the world. It is known today as one of the most vibrant monasteries in central Europe; In Mayerling, visit the convent of the Carmelite Order. Check in at the 4*hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

 


Day 14
VIENNA Full day city tour of Vienna. See the State Opera House, the magnificent Museum of Fine Arts, the Natural History Museum, the Imperial Palace, the Parliament, the City Hall, Burgtheater and visit Schoenbrunn Palace. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner



Day 15
VIENNA - MALTA
Breakfast and transfer to the Airport for your flight back to Malta.
