PORTS OF CALL

KYOTO
This is a city of some 2000 temples and shrines, a city of true masterpieces of religious architecture, such as the retina-burning splendour of Kinkakuji (the famed Golden Pavilion) and the cavernous expanse of Higashi Hongan-ji. It's where robed monks shuffle between temple buildings, prayer chants resonate through stunning Zen gardens, and the faithful meditate on tatami-mat floors. Even as the modern city buzzes and shifts all around, a waft of burning incense, or the sight of a bright vermillion torii gate marking a shrine entrance, are regular reminders that Kyoto remains the spiritual heart of Japan.

KOBE
Kobe is the capital of Hyogo Prefecture and one of Japan's ten largest cities. Located between the sea and the Rokko mountain range, Kobe is also considered one of Japan's most attractive cities. Kobe has been an important port city for many centuries. Its port was among the first to be opened to foreign trade in the 19th century alongside the ports of Yokohama, Nagasaki, Hakodate and Niigata.

NAGOYA
Nagoya has cosmopolitan aspects including some fantastic museums, significant temples and excellent shopping.
Nagoyans take pride in the unpretentious nature of their friendly, accessible city. Nagoya lies north of Ise Bay on the N?bi Plain. The city was built on low-level plateaus to ward off floodwaters. The plain is one of the nation's most fertile areas In spite of all this, the city still struggles to shake its reputation among Japanese as the nation's most boring metropolis. We're here to disagree. Nagoya is the gateway to Ch?bu's big mountain heart and a great base for day trips.

DAY 12 - SHANGHAI
Breakfast and transfer from Cruise Terminal for full day tour visiting the People`s Square, Shanghai Museum and the Shanghai TV Tower. Transfer to Airport for your flight to Malta.
