Looking onto the Mont Blanc range, the attraction of this area is the skiing for all levels of ability and all ages, with a large diversity of pistes and the free-ride atmosphere of the legendary World Cup Kandahar run, known as ‘‘La Verte des Houches’’.

AIGUILLE DU MIDI


Easy access by cable car into the high mountains, at 3842 m of altitude. Enjoy the spectacular views over Mont Blanc and the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. “Step into the Void”, with a breath-taking thousand metre drop beneath the glass under your feet! NEW: the Tube! A real work of art, this 32 m long steel gallery, allows you to make the complete tour of the central pillar of the Aiguille du Midi. Sheltered from the elements, you can take the time to admire the scenery from the openings let into its lower section.

THE MONTENVERS TRAIN AND THE MER DE GLACE

Board the famous Montenvers rack and pinion railway, towards one of the biggest glaciers in Europe: the Mer de Glace. There you can visit the ice cave and Glaciorium. Discover the crystals of Mont Blanc, the igloo village of the Ice People and the themed snowshoe trails. Not to mention enjoying a traditional meal in the authentic atmosphere of the Grand Hotel du Montenvers.
