The ROCS Group is growing and we are looking for a Travel E-commerce Website Administrator to join our team. This role includes aspects of website management and content creation, marketing strategies, customer engagement, and monitoring of related performance objectives.

Key responsibilities of this post include:

  • Managing project from inception;
  • Generating and updating website content, in relation to products, content, and promotions;
  • Working with agencies to build traffic & sales via the website (PPC agency, email marketing provider, e-commerce provider, etc);
  • Planning, defining, and implementing website changes and functional improvements;
  • Maintaining and updating the online marketing plan for the website;
  • Monitoring key performance indicators on the website and developing plans to improve them;
  • Investigating and reporting any operational/technical issues arising;
  • Creating banners, images, promotions and other media for display on the website;
  • Investigating, evaluating, and assessing new ways of generating additional traffic/orders;
  • Producing reports to analyse the performance of all online marketing campaigns and promotions (via reports, analytics, surveys etc);
  • Continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.

You must also possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • An understanding of the disciplines required to drive traffic to retail websites (PPC, email marketing, link generation, online PR , SEO, offline marketing and PR, affiliate programmes, etc);
  • Understanding of order management/customer fulfilment in an e-commerce context;
  • Be in possession of an IATA qualification;
  • Experience using packages like Excel and Photoshop;
  • Be computer literate and have a good understanding of basic web technologies (FTP, browsers, basic HTML, data files);
  • Be familiar with data management;
  • Previous experience of website or e-commerce CMS;
  • Basic understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools & Analytics would be desirable;
  • Previous experience in a traditional travel agency and / or tour operator would be considered as an asset.
