The ROCS Group is growing and we are looking for motivated and hard-working individuals to join our current insurance team as Senior Office Insurance Executives.

We will provide you with an internal induction course fully paid by the company, which includes training sessions on all the necessary product knowledge needed for those looking to establish and improve a career in Insurance with ROCS. We will also provide you with all the necessary knowledge, assistance, training and continuous support in order to develop the skills needed.

Prior working experience (minimum set at 2 years) in the Insurance industry is a requirement.

You must also possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese and English;
  • A minimum of an O Level standard of education;
  • Enthusiasm and strong customer service skills;
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
  • The ability to work under pressure;
  • An interest in the insurance market;
  • Must be responsible, reliable and trustworthy.

 

Key responsibilities of candidates who complete the training programme:

  • Working with existing insurance products offered by the company, and promoting these products to existing and new clients;
  • Working consistently towards achieving the budgeted sales as determined by management;
  • Designing insurance offers that adequately meet clients’ requirements;
  • Carrying out all necessary follow-ups with clients, ensuring a pro-active approach is taken in clients’ best interests;
  • Updating as required client records to the computer client files;
  • Sharing and providing information to other team members on any knowledge gained in respect of both clients and products;
  • Keeping abreast with developments within insurance and updating one’s knowledge and qualifications as necessary;
  • Management of small business units as required;
  • Any other related duties as may be determined from time to time by management.

 

Employment conditions:

Remuneration is based on a monthly wage plus overtime plus monthly and end of year performance-based bonuses.
