The Deputy Head of Retail will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the retail operations for INGLOT The Studio, INGLOT, perfumes&more, Dune London and MINUSTHREE The Point Shopping Mall (Tigne). This position requires a highly skilled and motivated individual who will assist the Head of Retail in driving the strategic direction, ensuring optimal store performance, and managing day-to-day retail operations. The Deputy Head of Retail will also act as a key liaison between the management team and store staff, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, increasing sales, and developing a high-performing retail environment. She / He will need to liaise together with the head of retail with all other divisions including travel, investments, media, property and more.

Working Conditions:
• Full-time position.
• Occasional travel to retail locations as needed.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required to support retail operations.

You must also possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management, or in a leadership position.
    • Strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and team leadership.
    • Proven track record in driving sales performance and customer satisfaction.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of the beauty and perfume industry is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management software.

The key responsibilities of this post include:

    • Retail Operations Management:
    o Assist the Head of Retail in overseeing all retail operations across multiple stores.
    o Monitor store performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
    o Ensure all retail stores are aligned with company policies, brand guidelines, and operational standards.
    o Manage inventory control and stock replenishment across all retail locations.
    o Help coordinate store openings, closures, and relocations as necessary.

    • Team Leadership & Development:
    o Support the recruitment, training, and development of retail staff, including store managers and sales associates.
    o Foster a positive and motivating work environment for store teams, driving performance through effective leadership.
    o Ensure that all team members are trained in product knowledge, customer service, and brand ethos.
    o Assist in performance evaluations and support the implementation of corrective actions where necessary.

    • Sales & Customer Experience:
    o Contribute to the development of sales strategies and promotional activities to increase foot traffic and drive sales.
    o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering an exceptional in-store experience.
    o Analyse customer feedback and sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and customer needs.
    o Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure the retail store experiences are aligned with brand promotions.


    • Operational Excellence:
    o Ensure the smooth running of daily operations, including store visual merchandising, health and safety, and adherence to company policies.
    o Assist in managing budgets and ensuring financial goals are met, including sales targets and cost control.
    o Help with the analysis of sales reports and inventory levels to optimize product assortment.
    o Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs where possible.

    • Strategic Initiatives:
    o Assist in the development and execution of retail strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
    o Provide input on long-term business plans and initiatives for retail expansion and enhancement.
    o Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations, and supply chain) to ensure seamless business operations.

    • Brand Representation:
    o Represent the company’s values and brand standards in all interactions with customers, staff, and partners.
    o Ensure all stores uphold the highest standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness, and product presentation.
